What Will You Learn
Study plan and curriculum are prepared on the basis of current legislation and the latest scientific achievements in the field of physiotherapy, with constant substantive consultations with practitioners – doctors and physiotherapists.
The programme includes:
- General education courses (e.g. Bioethics, Foreign Language, Sociology, Anatomy, Physiology, Biology);
- Major and specialised courses (e.g. Kinesiotherapy, Physical Therapy, Massage, Pathobiomechanics, Clinical Physiotherapy in Disorders of Motor Organs, Orthopaedic Equipment and Prosthetics, Occupational Therapy).
Studies provide professional qualifications to work in public and non-public health care institutions (hospital wards, health care facilities, long-term and terminal care units, nursing centers, social welfare homes), sports centres as well as to carry out environmental rehabilitation. The graduate is prepared to conduct business activity, manage a team of therapists, organize and manage physiotherapeutic and rehabilitation institutions, perform managerial and supervisory functions in healthcare facilities.
